What the Onyx Research privacy policy covers

The Onyx Research privacy policy applies to onyx-research.co and to orders placed on it. If you have a question about it, email sales@onyx-research.co.

Information we collect

• Order details: your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number if you give one, and what you ordered.
• Account details: if you create an account, your login email and password (stored in encrypted form).
• Messages: anything you send us by email or through the contact form.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, collected by our server logs and cookies.

How we use it

We use your information to process and ship orders, to answer your messages, to prevent fraud and to keep the site working. We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it except with the services needed to run the store, such as payment processing, shipping carriers and our web host.

Cookies

The site uses cookies to keep your cart, remember your login and measure basic traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but the cart and checkout won’t work without them.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, and other data only as long as we need it for the purposes above.

Under the Onyx Research privacy policy, you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it, subject to the records we must keep by law. Email sales@onyx-research.co and we’ll reply within 30 days. If you’re in the EU, the European Commission data protection pages explain your rights under the GDPR.

Emails we send

We email you about your order: confirmation and any updates on it. If you sign up for our newsletter, we’ll also send news about products, and every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.

Children

The site and its products are meant for adult researchers. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we’ll delete it if we learn we have.

Security and changes
