What are tanning peptides?

Melanotan 2 is a cyclic analog of alpha-MSH, the hormone that tells skin cells to make melanin. It acts on several melanocortin receptors, which is why it also turns up in appetite and libido research.

GHK-Cu is a three-amino-acid peptide that holds a copper ion. Loren Pickart first described it in human plasma in 1973, and it’s studied for collagen production and wound remodeling.

Storage and handling

Keep sealed freeze-dried vials in the freezer at -20°C, or in the fridge if they’ll be used within a few weeks. Once a vial is mixed, it stays at 2 to 8°C and is best used within about four weeks.

Write the arrival date and, later, the mixing date on every vial or bottle. Those two dates answer most questions later.
