KLOW blend certificate of analysis
Every KLOW blend batch we list has a Freedom Diagnostics report behind it. The lab measures purity by HPLC and confirms identity by mass spectrometry, and you can open the full reports in the photo gallery on this page.
- Klow 80mg: 99.385% purity, reported 2/28/2026, search code ONYX2602270067
- KLOW 80mg: 99.66% purity, reported 8/13/2025, search code onyx2508120022
The highest result on file is 99.66%. Each report carries a search code, so you can look it up on the Freedom Diagnostics website and check that it matches what’s shown here.
The compounds in KLOW blend
GHK-Cu is the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine bound to a copper(II) ion. Loren Pickart first isolated GHK from human plasma in 1973, and levels in plasma are reported to fall with age.
KPV is the tripeptide lysine-proline-valine, the C-terminal end of alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone. It keeps alpha-MSH’s anti-inflammatory activity without the pigment effects.
BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide based on a fragment of body protection compound, a protein first found in gastric juice. It’s one of the most widely studied research peptides, almost entirely in rodents.
TB-500: Thymosin beta-4 is a 43-amino-acid protein found in nearly every cell, where it binds actin and helps control cell movement. TB-500 is the name used for synthetic thymosin beta-4 and for a short fragment of its active region.
KLOW is the GLOW formula plus 10mg of KPV. KPV brings the inflammatory side of repair to GHK-Cu’s remodeling and the BPC-157 and TB-500 pair, which makes it the widest repair blend we sell.
The ratio is locked in at manufacture. One vial, one mix, the same proportion every time. For custom ratios, use the single-compound vials.
Mechanisms in the blend
GHK binds copper tightly and can deliver it to cells. Copper is a cofactor for lysyl oxidase, the enzyme that cross-links collagen and elastin, and for antioxidant enzymes.
Alpha-MSH calms inflammation through melanocortin receptors. KPV is its last three amino acids and keeps much of that anti-inflammatory activity.
Nobody has pinned down a single receptor for BPC-157. Lab studies point to several pathways: it raises VEGF receptor expression, which feeds blood vessel growth, it interacts with the nitric oxide system, and it increases growth hormone receptor levels in tendon cells.
Thymosin beta-4’s main job is holding on to G-actin, the building block of the cell’s internal scaffolding. By controlling how much actin is free to polymerize, it controls how cells move and change shape.

Research findings
Maquart and colleagues reported in 1988 that GHK-Cu stimulated collagen synthesis in cultured fibroblasts, and later rat wound-chamber studies found more collagen and glycosaminoglycan buildup.
Dalmasso and colleagues reported in Gastroenterology (2008) that KPV reduced inflammation in mouse colitis models and was taken up through PepT1.
Most of the work comes from Predrag Sikiric’s group at the University of Zagreb. Their rodent studies report faster healing of tendon, ligament, muscle and gut injuries, and Mikus and colleagues described improved burn wound healing in mice.
Goldstein and colleagues reviewed thymosin beta-4’s role in wound repair in 2012, covering faster closure of skin wounds and new blood vessel growth in animal models.

Checking your vials
Start with the label: Onyx Research, the compound name and the amount should all match what you ordered. Then look at the seal. The crimp should be tight with no cracks in the glass.
Freeze-dried powder often shakes loose in transit. Loose powder is no problem if it’s dry. Droplets on the glass or a shrunken, glassy film mean moisture got in, and we’ll want to hear about it.
Write the arrival date on the box, and add the mixing date and volume later. That short log answers most questions if a result looks odd.
Reconstitution chart and steps
Pick your water volume first and the strength follows from it. With the 80mg vial:
- Add 2mL: 40mg/mL (4,000mcg per 0.1mL, or 10 units on a U-100 syringe)
- Add 3mL: 26.67mg/mL (2,666.7mcg per 0.1mL, or 10 units on a U-100 syringe)
- Add 5mL: 16mg/mL (1,600mcg per 0.1mL, or 10 units on a U-100 syringe)
Give a cold vial five minutes on the bench, then swab the top. Let the bacteriostatic water trickle down the side and roll the vial gently between your palms. It should turn clear within a minute or two.
Storage and stability
Sealed KLOW blend lasts longest frozen at -20°C and dark. The fridge is fine for short spells. Mixed solution stays at 2 to 8°C and should be used within roughly 28 days.
Let a frozen vial come up to room temperature before you open it, or condensation forms on the powder.
