What is Onyx Research retatrutide?
Onyx Research retatrutide is LY3437943, a 39-amino-acid peptide from Eli Lilly that acts on three receptors at once: GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon. It’s the first triple agonist to reach late-stage trials. A fatty acid side chain lets it bind albumin in the blood, which gives it a half-life of about six days.
Our label calls it GLP-3 RT. The 3 counts the receptors and RT is short for retatrutide. It isn’t approved anywhere, and we sell it for lab research only.
Retatrutide trial results
Jastreboff and colleagues reported the phase 2 obesity trial in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2023. At the highest dose, average weight loss was 24.2% at 48 weeks, the largest number any incretin compound had posted at that stage. A Nature Medicine substudy in 2024 found big drops in liver fat. GLP-3 RT vs GLP-2 TZ vs GLP-1 SM
GLP-1 SM is semaglutide, which acts on GLP-1 only. GLP-2 TZ is tirzepatide, adding GIP. GLP-3 RT adds glucagon as a third target. Labs often run them side by side to see what each extra receptor adds. Cagrilintide works through amylin instead and pairs with any of them.

Onyx Research retatrutide sizes are built around how long a study runs. A 5mg or 10mg vial is enough for a pilot. The 20mg and 30mg vials suit a typical study, and the 60mg vial is the cheapest per milligram for long work. Packs make sense when several vials have to come from the same order, so the material stays consistent.
Remember that a larger vial stays mixed for longer once you add water. If a study uses small amounts, two smaller vials can waste less than one large one, even though the large one costs less per milligram.
