Onyx Research BPC-157: the vials, the blends and the research

Onyx Research BPC-157 comes as a single peptide in 5mg and 10mg vials and inside three blends. This guide covers what BPC-157 is, what the studies report, how our vials test and which option fits your work.

What is Onyx Research BPC-157?

Onyx Research BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide, Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val, copied from a fragment of a protein first found in gastric juice. That origin is why it’s sometimes called a gastric pentadecapeptide. It’s one of the most searched research peptides, and almost all of its literature comes from rodent work.

It isn’t an approved drug in the US or Europe, and it sits on the WADA prohibited list. Every vial we sell is for laboratory research.

What the BPC-157 research reports

Most published BPC-157 studies come from Predrag Sikiric’s group at the University of Zagreb. Their rodent models report faster healing of tendon, ligament, muscle and gut injuries. Chang and colleagues reported in 2011 that BPC-157 raised growth hormone receptor levels in rat tendon cells, which may explain part of the tendon effect. Controlled human data are thin. You can read the papers through this PubMed search for BPC-157.

No one has found a single receptor for it. Lab work points to several routes at once: more VEGF receptor activity, which feeds new blood vessel growth, interaction with the nitric oxide system and more growth hormone receptors in tendon cells.

Onyx Research BPC-157 sizes and price

The BPC-157 product page has two sizes. The 5mg vial costs $45, and the 10mg vial costs $64, which works out to $6.40 per mg against $9 for the 5mg. Pick the small vial for a pilot run and the big one for a longer study.

Lab testing: the BPC-157 COA

Freedom Diagnostics, a US lab, tested our BPC-157 5mg batch by HPLC with UV detection and mass spectrometry. It came back at 99.627% purity, reported on November 24, 2025, with search code Onyx2511200077. Enter that code on the lab’s website and you’ll see the same report that sits in our product photos. Our COA guide explains each field.

BPC-157 also comes premixed. The Wolverine blend pairs 5mg of BPC-157 with 5mg of TB-500 and tested at 99.72%. GLOW 70mg adds 50mg of GHK-Cu to 10mg each of BPC-157 and TB-500. KLOW 80mg adds 10mg of KPV on top. Blends fix the ratio, so if you need to change it between experiments, buy the single vials. Our TB-500 guide covers the other half of the pair.

Mixing and storing BPC-157

Add bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside of the vial and swirl until it’s clear. With 2mL in a 10mg vial you get 5mg per mL. Keep sealed vials at -20°C, mixed vials at 2 to 8°C, and use a mixed vial within about four weeks.

Why buy Onyx Research BPC-157

Onyx Research BPC-157 has a few things going for it. The vial is in stock in both sizes, so the size you pick is the size that ships. The purity figure comes from an outside lab, with a search code you can check. And shipping is free on every order, so a single 5mg vial costs the same to ship as a box of ten.

It also sits in a range built around it. If your work moves from single compounds to combinations, the three BPC-157 blends save mixing, and GHK-Cu and TB-500 are on the same shelf. Many labs order BPC-157 together with a vial of bacteriostatic water and one of the blends so they can compare a single compound with a combination in one study.
