What are anti-aging peptides?

Aging isn’t one process, so no single compound covers it. Researchers split it into mechanisms, such as shortening telomeres, falling NAD+ levels, mitochondrial decline and slower tissue repair, and study each one separately.

Epitalon is the four-amino-acid peptide Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly from Vladimir Khavinson’s bioregulator program. NAD+ is the coenzyme every cell needs for energy reactions and for sirtuin activity, and MOTS-c is a short peptide coded in mitochondrial DNA.

Storage and handling

Keep sealed freeze-dried vials in the freezer at -20°C, or in the fridge if they’ll be used within a few weeks. Once a vial is mixed, it stays at 2 to 8°C and is best used within about four weeks.
