For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Wolverine blend combines 5mg of BPC-157 and 5mg of TB-500 in one sealed vial, 10mg in total, so one reconstitution covers all two compounds. It’s meant for lab and analytical work only.
Wolverine blend lab testing
Onyx Research sends Wolverine blend to Freedom Diagnostics, a testing lab in the United States, which runs HPLC with UV detection coupled with mass spectrometry. HPLC measures purity and mass spec confirms the molecule’s identity. The report is in the product photos above.
- Wolverine 10mg: 99.72% purity, reported 8/13/2025, search code onyx2508120021
Our labels promise 99% purity, and the reports above come in at up to 99.72%. Enter the search code on the Freedom Diagnostics site to pull up the same report yourself.
The compounds in Wolverine blend
BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide based on a fragment of body protection compound, a protein first found in gastric juice. It’s one of the most widely studied research peptides, almost entirely in rodents.
TB-500: Thymosin beta-4 is a 43-amino-acid protein found in nearly every cell, where it binds actin and helps control cell movement. TB-500 is the name used for synthetic thymosin beta-4 and for a short fragment of its active region.
Wolverine is the classic repair pair: BPC-157 and TB-500 in equal amounts. BPC-157 is tied to new blood vessel growth and nitric oxide signaling, and thymosin beta-4 binds actin to help cells move into damaged tissue.
The ratio is locked in at manufacture. One vial, one mix, the same proportion every time. For custom ratios, use the single-compound vials.
How Wolverine blend works
Nobody has pinned down a single receptor for BPC-157. Lab studies point to several pathways: it raises VEGF receptor expression, which feeds blood vessel growth, it interacts with the nitric oxide system, and it increases growth hormone receptor levels in tendon cells.
Thymosin beta-4’s main job is holding on to G-actin, the building block of the cell’s internal scaffolding. By controlling how much actin is free to polymerize, it controls how cells move and change shape.

What the research reports
Most of the work comes from Predrag Sikiric’s group at the University of Zagreb. Their rodent studies report faster healing of tendon, ligament, muscle and gut injuries, and Mikus and colleagues described improved burn wound healing in mice.
Chang and colleagues reported in 2011 that BPC-157 raised growth hormone receptor expression in rat tendon fibroblasts. Controlled human data are very limited.
Goldstein and colleagues reviewed thymosin beta-4’s role in wound repair in 2012, covering faster closure of skin wounds and new blood vessel growth in animal models.
Bock-Marquette and colleagues reported in Nature (2004) that thymosin beta-4 improved heart cell survival after injury in mice.

Checking your vials
The Onyx Research label names the compound and the amount. Compare both with your order confirmation, and check the crimp seal before the vial goes into storage.
The powder should look dry and pale, either as a solid cake or loose granules. If the cake has crumbled in the box, that’s expected. Powder that looks wet, gummy or off-color is not, so keep that vial out of use and send us a photo.
Log the date the vial arrived and, later, when and how you mixed it. It’s quick, and it saves a lot of guesswork if something goes wrong.
Reconstitution chart and steps
These figures use the 10mg vial. For a bigger vial, multiply by the size difference.
- Add 1mL: 10mg/mL (1,000mcg per 0.1mL, or 10 units on a U-100 syringe)
- Add 2mL: 5mg/mL (500mcg per 0.1mL, or 10 units on a U-100 syringe)
- Add 3mL: 3.33mg/mL (333.3mcg per 0.1mL, or 10 units on a U-100 syringe)
Bring the vial up to room temperature and clean the stopper with an alcohol pad. Inject the bacteriostatic water against the glass wall, not onto the powder, and swirl slowly until it’s clear. Shaking whips up foam and can damage the chain.
Storing Wolverine blend
Sealed Wolverine blend lasts longest frozen at -20°C and dark. The fridge is fine for short spells. Mixed solution stays at 2 to 8°C and should be used within roughly 28 days.
Mix one vial at a time. Dry powder keeps for months, but solution only keeps for weeks.
