About Sermorelin

Sermorelin is GHRH(1-29), the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone releasing hormone. It’s the shortest fully active piece of GHRH.

It was FDA-approved as Geref for pediatric GH deficiency and later withdrawn for commercial reasons.

What it does at the cell level

Sermorelin is the shortest piece of GHRH that still works. It binds the GHRH receptor on the pituitary and triggers growth hormone release.

Because it works through the body’s own GH control, the pituitary’s feedback loops stay intact. The trade-off is a very short half-life.

Sermorelin dilution chart

These figures use the 5mg vial. For a bigger vial, multiply by the size difference.

• Add 1mL: 5mg/mL (500mcg per 0.1mL, or 10 units on a U-100 syringe)
• Add 2mL: 2.5mg/mL (250mcg per 0.1mL, or 10 units on a U-100 syringe)
• Add 3mL: 1.67mg/mL (166.7mcg per 0.1mL, or 10 units on a U-100 syringe)

Give a cold vial five minutes on the bench, then swab the top. Let the bacteriostatic water trickle down the side and roll the vial gently between your palms. It should turn clear within a minute or two.

Storage and stability

Two rules cover Sermorelin storage: powder in the freezer, solution in the fridge. Keep both away from light and damp, since those break freeze-dried peptides down fastest.

Mix one vial at a time. Dry powder keeps for months, but solution only keeps for weeks.

When your order arrives

The Onyx Research label names the compound and the amount. Compare both with your order confirmation, and check the crimp seal before the vial goes into storage.

The powder should look dry and pale, either as a solid cake or loose granules. If the cake has crumbled in the box, that’s expected. Powder that looks wet, gummy or off-color is not, so keep that vial out of use and send us a photo.

Write the arrival date on the box, and add the mixing date and volume later. That short log answers most questions if a result looks odd.
