What is CJC-1295 No DAC (Mod GRF 1-29)?
CJC-1295 without DAC, also called modified GRF(1-29), is GHRH(1-29) with four amino acid changes that protect it from enzymes. Its half-life is longer than sermorelin’s, though still short.
It doesn’t have the drug affinity complex that lets CJC-1295 DAC bind albumin.
What it does at the cell level
GHRH from the hypothalamus tells the pituitary to release growth hormone. Only its first 29 amino acids are needed for that.
Natural GHRH(1-29) lasts a few minutes before enzymes cut it. The four swaps in CJC-1295 without DAC block those cuts, so it lasts around half an hour. That keeps GH release pulse-like, which is why it’s often paired with a ghrelin-receptor peptide like ipamorelin.

What the research reports
The amino acid changes were described in work on tetrasubstituted GRF analogs.
Most published human data are on the DAC version.

Similar research compounds
Short version: CJC-1295 No DAC is a GHRH analog with four substitutions that slow its breakdown. Labs often weigh it against these:
- Sermorelin is the first 29 amino acids of GHRH, the shortest fully active piece
- IGF-1 LR3 is a longer-lasting IGF-1 analog that binding proteins mostly ignore
- Ipamorelin is a selective ghrelin receptor agonist that releases growth hormone in pulses
- Tesamorelin is a stabilized GHRH analog with trial data on visceral fat
GHRH analogs and ghrelin receptor agonists hit the pituitary through two separate receptors, and IGF-1 LR3 acts further down the same axis. Every one of them is in stock in our growth hormone peptides.
CJC-1295 No DAC dilution chart
Pick your water volume first and the strength follows from it. With the 5mg vial:
- Add 1mL: 5mg/mL (500mcg per 0.1mL, or 10 units on a U-100 syringe)
- Add 2mL: 2.5mg/mL (250mcg per 0.1mL, or 10 units on a U-100 syringe)
- Add 3mL: 1.67mg/mL (166.7mcg per 0.1mL, or 10 units on a U-100 syringe)
Bring the vial up to room temperature and clean the stopper with an alcohol pad. Inject the bacteriostatic water against the glass wall, not onto the powder, and swirl slowly until it’s clear. Shaking whips up foam and can damage the chain.
Keeping the vial stable
Sealed CJC-1295 No DAC lasts longest frozen at -20°C and dark. The fridge is fine for short spells. Mixed solution stays at 2 to 8°C and should be used within roughly 28 days.
Mix one vial at a time. Dry powder keeps for months, but solution only keeps for weeks.
What to check on delivery
Each vial carries the black and white Onyx Research label with the compound, the amount, 99% purity and the research-use line. Check that the name and amount match your order and that the cap and crimp are tight.
Look for a dry powder. Loose pieces are fine. Wet or discolored material should stay out of your work, so contact us with a photo.
Log the date the vial arrived and, later, when and how you mixed it. It’s quick, and it saves a lot of guesswork if something goes wrong.
